            The Core Idea: Deposit 50,000 sats to unlock premium content. Complete modules to earn up to 80% back (40,000 sats). Your learning commitment becomes your reward.
        

1. How It Works

Deposit: Pay 50,000 sats via Lightning to activate Apprentice membership
Learn: Complete interactive modules and quizzes
Earn: Each completed module earns you sats back
Claim: Once earned, sats are tracked for payout (coming Q2 2026)

2. Earning Formula

Sats per module = (Total Deposit × 80%) ÷ Total Modules
= (50,000 × 0.80) ÷ 20 modules
= 2,000 sats per module

3. Module Completion Criteria

A module is considered "complete" when:

You have viewed all content in the module
You have completed any interactive exercises
You have passed the module quiz (if applicable) with ≥70% score
Your progress is recorded in your browser's localStorage

✓ What counts:

Genuine engagement with content
Passing quizzes on your own
Completing demos and exercises

✗ What doesn't count:

Skipping through content without reading
Manipulating localStorage directly
Using automated scripts to "complete" modules

4. Example Progress

After completing 10 of 20 modules:
Earned: 10 × 2,000 = 20,000 sats
Remaining to earn: 10 × 2,000 = 20,000 sats
Progress: 50%

5. Payout Process

Current Status: We are tracking earned sats locally. The payout mechanism is launching Q2 2026.

Planned Payout Flow:

Complete modules and track your progress on the dashboard
When you reach your target, request a payout
Provide a Lightning address to receive your earned sats
We verify completion and send payment (1-3 business days)

Minimum Payout:

To request a payout, you must have earned at least 10,000 sats (5 modules completed).

6. Important Limitations

Maximum earn-back: 80% of deposit (40,000 sats)
Non-refundable deposit: The initial 50,000 sats cannot be refunded; you earn it back through learning
Progress is local: If you clear browser data, progress is lost. We cannot recover it.
One account per person: Creating multiple accounts to earn more is prohibited
Verification: We may verify genuine engagement before payouts

7. What Happens to the 20%?

The remaining 20% (10,000 sats) supports:

Platform maintenance and hosting
New content development
AI Tutor infrastructure
Lightning payment processing

8. Disputes and Edge Cases

If you believe your progress wasn't tracked correctly:

Check your browser's localStorage for bsa-completed-modules
Ensure you're using the same browser/device where you completed modules
Contact us at support@bitcoinsovereign.academy with screenshots

We resolve disputes in good faith but cannot verify activity that wasn't properly tracked.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may adjust the module count or earning formula
Changes apply to new deposits only
Existing Apprentice members keep their original terms
We will announce significant changes via email
